Egham and Staines Conservation Volunteers meet once a fortnight throughout the year in the Runnymede and Spelthorne areas. We perform a variety of tasks, all aimed at improving the local environment.

Learn new skills. All tools and refreshments are provided.

Be part of a team

Make a difference for nature and people. Remove invasive species and encourage native ones. Introduce the next generation to the benefits fo green space.

Autumn programme

6 October 2024 - The Ranges

Further work at the plantation. Parking in the field or Docket Eddy Lane (weather depending). 


20 October 2024 - Laleham Pond

The access area is being restored by the contractors, we’ll be helping with the planting. Parking at the Scout site next to the pond.


3 November 2024 - Hythe park

More work to enhance pond, we’ll be working with Runnymede and young volunteers. Parking in the park car park.


17 November 2024 - Hare hill

With local wardens, we’ll be helping to re-instate an old small meadow in the woodland. Parking in Howards Lane.


1 December 2024 - Laleham Pond

Further work helping the site recover. Parking at the Scout site next to the pond.


15 December 2024 - The Ranges

Starting this seasons coppicing the willows for schools. Parking in the field or Docket Eddy Lane (weather depending).
