Parliamentary election on 8 June

The result of the Parliamentary Election for the constituency of Runnymede & Weybridge has been announced.

Following the Election held on Thursday 8 June, Philip Hammond (Conservative) was elected as the Member of Parliament for the constituency.

The details of the result in full are:

DENT, Fiona Robertson LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE: 13,386

HAMMOND, Philip THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY CANDIDATE: 31,436

LAWRANCE, Lee-Anne Josephine Collett THE GREEN PARTY: 1,347

VINCENT, John William LIBERAL DEMOCRAT: 3,765

WOOD, Nicholas David UK INDEPENDENCE PARTY (UK I P): 1,675

The turn out was: 69.1%

The number of ballot papers rejected was as follows: 140
