The easiest way to pay your rent is to set up a direct debit, or you can make payments online with a credit or debit card.
If you want to move home you could either apply to transfer to an empty council property or agree to swap homes with another council tenant - this is called mutual exchange.
If you are a council tenant you may be able to buy your home from us at a discounted price under the Right to Buy scheme.
For both tenants and non-tenants the charge to rent a garage is £15 per week. Payment for garage rent is four weeks in advance by direct debit.
There is a recognised residents' group which represents tenants and leaseholders.
Over the next year, all homes will be visited by a member of the Tenancy Audit and Enforcement team as part of the Council's tenancy audit. This is to establish that the property is not wholly let or sublet, and to ensure it is being looked after in accordance with the Tenancy Agreement.
