Two local artists, Marina and Hannah, were commissioned to run an creative workshop as part of 'Living and Ageing Well Week 2016'. The workshops incorporated a food theme based on research from Hertfordshire University which researched older people's memories around food and their changing relationship with food as they aged.
We invited local residents in Runnymede to join us for a creative workshop at Chertsey Museum using our senses to explore our memories around food. We created our own handmade books which were decorated using collage, paints, crayons or fabric. We even wrote Haikus!
