Licensing forms, fees and policy

Our licensing policy

All Licensing Authorities are required to prepare and publish a Statement of Licensing Policy every 5 years.

Runnymede Borough Council's current Statement of Licensing Policy is in effect until 6 January 2026 Icon for pdf Statement of Licensing Policy 2021 to 2026 [870.79KB]

This document sets out the policy that the Licensing Authority will apply when making decisions about applications for:

  • The sale of alcohol by retail and wholesale
  • The supply of alcohol to members of registered clubs
  • The provision of regulated entertainment
  • The provision of late night refreshment (hot food and drink) between 11pm and 5am

Our licensing fees and charges for applications have been at the current level since the introduction of the Licensing Act in 2003. They are set in statute and the same fees apply country-wide.
This page provides a list of organisations the Licensing Act 2003 describes as 'responsible authorities'. These are the bodies you must inform if you are applying for a licence or certificate. They can pass comment upon your application or call for a review of your licence.
