Councillors and Committees

All meetings will normally start at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated. Planning Committee is at 6.30pm. Please note in the interests of safety and to follow Government guidance on caution and restraint the Council Chamber capacity for all committee meetings is limited to 60 including Councillors and Officers attending. Spaces for the public will be on a first come first served basis, with only limited spaces available especially at Planning Committee.

Committee Membership
Councillors attendance at Committees and Member Working Parties, 2021-22
In accordance with the Code of Conduct for Members, Members must declare, within 28 days of the date it is received, any gifts and hospitality received which are over £50 in value. This a public record which may be subject to Freedom of Information requests. Records are kept for a period of six years and then securely destroyed.
Member Working Parties (MWPs) are not Committees and have no decision-making powers, but they fulfil an important research and advisory function.
