Runnymede Borough Council has crushed a third vehicle used for flytipping in a year - after it was caught on camera dumping waste.
The strong enforcement measures come ahead of a county-wide flytipping awareness campaign that will make it clear - people can not dump waste in our borough and expect to get away with it.
Officers from our environmental health team spotted the van in Addlestone after it was recorded at an emerging flytipping hotspot.
On Thursday, 2 August, they destroyed the white van.
Aileen Baker, Senior Environmental Health Officer, said: "This is the third vehicle we have now crushed, anybody involved in flytipping risks having their vehicle seized and crushed."
