A variety of events and activities have been planned to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Hythe Park.

Xplorer - FREE
Wednesday 29 May, 10am to noon and Saturday, 29 June, noon to 3pm
A free orienteering-style activity suitable for the entire family. Collect a map then find the clues hidden in the park, find them all and you get a sticker and certificate.
Tai Chi in the park - £20 for four sessions
Tuesdays, 7 May to 4 June, 10am to 11am
Take time to simply be. Connect deeply to self, others and the surrounding nature. With gentle exercises and moves from the Tai chi form. Meet by the outdoor gym. £20 for four sessions. Contact Sue 07928 752707 to book.
Silent Summer screenings - outdoor cinema

Anniversary event - FREE
Saturday 29 June, noon to 3pm
Join in the 10 year anniversary celebrations of Hythe Park with live music, nature walks, family activities, food, stalls, refreshments, games and face painting.
Bring a picnic and enjoy your park. Kids, bring a teddy bear for a fancy dress theme of "life in the park" for bears and any owners.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Team Rubicon - Will be offering a skate session for young people to learn new skills and tricks. Bring your own skateboard or scooter or borrow one from the team.

Outdoor gym taster - Join a personal trainer and get an insight in how to use the free gym equipment in the park.
Ki Gong - Provides the benefit of yoga, it is designed to develop mind body and spirit. Suitable for all abilities.
Cabareilidh - Sit back and watch the cabaret performance then have the chance to get up and dance and join in!
Yoga by Maggie - Aims to improve flexibility and posture whilst strengthening the core. All in the peaceful setting of Hythe Park.
Teddy Bears Picnic - Bring a picnic and enjoy your park. Bring a teddy bear in fancy dress with the theme of 'life in the park' (owners can dress up too).
Pandemic Steel Orchestra - Listen to the soothing sounds of the steel pan band.
Sam's Ice Creams - Relax and cool down with one of Sam's lovely ice creams.
Fire Brigade - Chat to the fire and rescue service about their work in the community and check out their equipment!
Community Development Team - Come and say hi to the Community Development Team about local event and activities happening across the borough.
Xplorer - Grab your xplorer map and use your orienteering skills to find the markers placed around the park.
1st Egham Hythe Scouts - will have some tasty treats and drinks for you to taste.
Egham Nightingirls Women's Institute - Join Egham Nightingirls WI with rock painting and clay decorations suitable for both children and adults.
Staines Sailing Club - Find about about Staines Sailing Club and take a look at their club boat.
Suzi Q's - will be there selling delicious burgers and other hot foods.

Weedy Sunday - FREE
Could you spare a few hours a month to help look after the park? The last Sunday of every month is Weedy Sunday (weather dependant). Meet at 11am for a couple of hours. Tasks include weeding, planting and watering.
