Virginia Water Neighbourhood Plan
On 27 March 2019 members of Runnymede Borough Council Planning Committee resolved to designate The Virginia Water Neighbourhood Forum and resolved to refuse to designate the Virginia Water Neighbourhood Area originally applied for but to designate a modified Neighbourhood Area. The details of the Forum and the Area are as follows:

In accordance with The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 the Borough Council has produced a decision document setting out the reasons for the decision to modify the Neighbourhood Area boundary. The decision document can be found below:
What happens next?
Now that the Virginia Water Neighbourhood Forum and Area have been designated, the Forum can begin to prepare a Neighbourhood Plan for the area as designated. Any consultation or stakeholder events associated with early plan preparation will be carried out by the Neighbourhood Forum in this respect.
