Addlestone xmas lights

An all-new Christmas lights experience is coming to Addlestone town centre on 23 November!

The council has invested in new Christmas lights for Addlestone which will be displayed on lamp posts along Station Road.

Following a programme of events starting at 4.30pm, the lights will be officially illuminated by the Mayor promptly at 6pm. It will take place on The Lane at Addlestone One, near the Civic Centre in Station Road.

Father Christmas, face painters and balloon modellers will be on hand to entertain children, and there will also be stalls and choirs performing songs and hymns.

The winners of a kids colouring competition will be announced and an adults' amateur photography challenge will also be launched.

The event is being organised by Runnymede Borough Council and is sponsored by the businesses in Addlestone One. Local shops in the town centre are also involved in supporting the event.

Booklets giving more details are available from shops and the Civic Centre or find the Addlestone Christmas lights event on the Council's Facebook page.
