Smart meters - Smart Energy GB
Just by choosing to get a smart meter in your home you're helping to upgrade the whole of Britain's energy infrastructure to a 'smarter' energy grid. This is an essential technology upgrade, necessary to move away from old, dirty power stations, towards greener energy creation. It's estimated that smart metering technology will help the environment by saving Britain almost 30 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030.
