Filming in Runnymede
If you are looking to film within the Borough of Runnymede you will need to make sure that you have the right permission depending on where you would like to film.
Please contact Surrey County Council's fire and rescue service (Opens in a new window) for any queries relating to fire safety law. For any emergencies, call 999.
Fire safety in rented accommodation
In rented accommodation your landlord is responsible for meeting fire safety standards. You should expect smoke alarms on each floor. If you live in a shared house (known as a HMO) you should expect a fire blanket and extinguisher in the kitchen, and a fire door between the kitchen and escape route.
We will work with the emergency services to deal with flooding in the borough, but there are also many ways you can prepare to cope with a flood.
Fly-tipping or illegally dumped waste is an eyesore and shows a complete lack of respect for the environment. Help us to tackle the problem and find out about responsibilities on householders and businesses.
