The Household Support Fund is a national scheme funded by the UK Government to provide crisis support to vulnerable households in most need with the cost of essentials. On 6 March 2024, the chancellor announced Household Support Fund 5 will be an extension to the scheme for 6 months until September 2024.
Household Support Fund 5 is now open to new applications.
With each version of Household Support Fund, the eligibility criteria has changed and so you may get a different decision if you have applied in the past.
