Final outcome
The LGBCE has finalised its recommendations and the statutory instrument which formally changes the wards has finished its passage through Parliament. The final ward boundaries can be seen on the LGBCE website and the Runnymede (Electoral Changes) Order 2019 is available on the UK legislation website
The boundaries can also be seen on the Runnymede maps website by selecting the "Ward Boundary Review Final Wards" layer from the "Council and Democracy" section.
The number of wards remains at 14, with a reduction by one in the number of councillors, to leave 41. A full council election, electing all 41 councillors will take place on 2 May 2019. Following this election, the normal pattern of one councillor being elected for each ward each year (apart from years with scheduled Surrey County Council elections) will resume from 2020.
