Important information about your annual bill for 2025/26

For 2025/26 the standard non-domestic rating multiplier is 55.5p and the small business non-domestic rating multiplier is 49.9p

The 2025/26 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Business Rates Relief, effective 1 April 2025 provides eligible, occupied, retail, hospitality and leisure properties with a 40% relief, up to a cash cap limit of £110,000 per business.

This relief is to support the businesses that make our high streets and town centres a success and help them to evolve and adapt to changing consumer demands.

Whilst this scheme runs until 31 March 2026, eligibility to the relief may cease from an earlier date, should the business cease to meet the qualifying conditions sooner.

If you have received your annual bill and wish to make a payment you can do so online. Your chosen method of payment is shown on your bill but you may wish to change this. Setting up a Direct Debit is the safest and most convenient way to pay but there are other options depending on your circumstances.

Please note that if you have previously chosen to pay your Business Rates by Direct Debit you do not need to set up another.
