Volunteering

Volunteering in your community

Below are the opportunities to volunteer in Community Development and other local groups. If you’re interested in any of these roles, please contact Voluntary Support North Surrey.

Open Spaces

Several groups and organisations across Runnymede are involved in activities to enhance our natural environment.

Volunteering tasks with these groups frequently involve habitat management, invasive species removal and the creation of new and improved habitats and are a great way to get active in the outdoors and meet new people.

Volunteering groups

Egham and Staines Conservation Volunteers meet fortnightly on Sunday mornings and work at a variety of sites across Runnymede and Spelthorne Boroughs. A list of upcoming conservation tasks can be found here.
