Purpose of survey
The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a charge collected on some types of new development to help improve local infrastructure needed to support growth in Runnymede.
Some of the CIL money collected is directed to a ‘Neighbourhood CIL Fund’. This can be spent on a wide range of infrastructure, from improving a nearby community hall or playground equipment, to upgrading walking and cycling routes to local shops and schools, to community safety initiatives and lots more.
As well as being informed by the Council’s priority areas of work, the use of each neighbourhood portion should match priorities expressed by local communities - including those set out in adopted Neighbourhood Plans and those identified through surveys like this.
The funds are limited, and difficult decisions will need to be made on how they are spent, but your views will be a big help in reaching the right decisions.
Please spare five minutes to share your views with us by answering three short questions via the following survey - which closes on Wednesday 30 April 2025.
