We provide a door-to-door transport service to appointments, facilities and social activities in Runnymede and the neighbouring area for older residents or those with a disability.
Who can use the service?
Our transport is available for residents who are unable to access public bus services. This may be for reasons such as a physical, sensory or learning disability, frailty or mental health problems. All of our vehicles are fully accessible to enable easy access for passengers and can carry individuals who are unable to transfer from a wheelchair. Our drivers are fully trained to provide assistance to passengers as required.
The service operates Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays) from 9am to 5pm, giving users the flexibility to travel when and where they want to go.
How to book
Before booking a journey, users firstly need to sign up to our free of charge membership. Once registered, journeys can be booked by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01932 425050. For dial-a-ride, we recommend you book with as much notice as possible, up to a maximum of six days in advance. We can also set up regular bookings for users wishing to travel to a weekly or monthly group or event.
Paying for journeys
The cost of each journey is calculated on booking and users can pay the driver when they travel. Carers are able to travel as a companion free of charge. Unfortunately we are unable to accept concessionary bus passes.
Social trips and outings
We run a number of regular trips and outings for users of the service to local places of interest including Virginia Water Lake, garden centres, Brooklands shopping and more. Please email email@example.com or call 01932 425050 for details of upcoming trips.
For residents who wish to attend one of our Social Centres we offer return transport to and from each centre each weekday for a small charge.
Our offers affordable transport for not for profit groups or organisations looking for one off trips or regular transport.
