Rubbish collections (black bin)
The black bin is for rubbish/non-recyclables and collection is once every two weeks.
To reduce waste and promote recycling, the standard rubbish bin size is one 180L bin per household. Each property is limited to one refuse bin, but you may have multiple recycling or food bins.
In special circumstances, an additional refuse bin may be approved. If you believe you qualify, please apply for an additional black bin. Each request will be reviewed individually, and if approved, an annual fee of £96.10 may apply.
Bin collections
Please remember to put your bins out at the nearest vehicle access point to your property by 6am on your collection day.

Moving within and out of the borough
If you are moving out remember all bins must remain at the property.
