Thank you to all those who participated in the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy consultation, which is now closed. The time you took to complete this is very much appreciated.
We will be collating the responses and consideration will be given as to whether any changes need to be made to the draft Strategy. Based on the outcome of the responses, a finalised version of the Strategy will be presented before Members for final approval in due course.
Runnymede Borough Council’s consultation on draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025-2028. We are reviewing our approach to how we deal with homelessness and rough sleeping in the Borough.
This includes:
- what steps we will take to prevent and relieve homelessness
- how to support those rough sleeping into more sustainable accommodation
- and ensure that those who experience homelessness have access to the support and advice they need
In our draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, we set out our objectives that we want to prioritise to help those at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. These four objectives have been devised following engagement sessions with a variety of stakeholders
