Nominations for the first Runnymede Civic Awards are now open
We know there are amazing people who live in this Borough, but now is your chance to shine a light on those who are making a difference, inspiring others, and showing real passion and talent. Awards cover the categories of community, sport, and the arts, and include awards specifically for young people.
So, if you know a vibrant volunteer, a tremendous team, or a passionate performer, what are you waiting for? Get them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for an award.
Cllr Margaret Harnden, Mayor of Runnymede, said:
The Runnymede Civic Awards are a fantastic opportunity for the Council to show its commitment to empowering communities and improving the health and wellbeing of those in them.
By nominating someone for an award you can help us celebrate the diverse talent, passion and determination of those who make Runnymede a great place to live and work.”
Nominating is quick, free, and simple via our website. Nominations will close on 13 January 2023. Following judging by our panel those shortlisted will be invited to attend the award ceremony on 22 February 2023 at Foxhills in Ottershaw.
