What do I need to submit?
With any formal planning consent there are a number of plans/drawings which are required to be submitted
The Council has produced a checklist to assist in the information required for householder planning applications. This checklist was initially produced in May 2021 and was reviewed in December 2024. It was considered no material changes were required and has been republished.
As part of a householder planning application a simple Flood Risk Assessment may be required. The below is a template for such a document.
You can check if your property is within a Flood Zone via our interactive mapping service.
For all other types of planning applications the Validation Document provides further information on national and local requirements.
