The Home Improvement Agency is a team within Runnymede Borough Council. They are available to elderly, disabled, vulnerable, or low-income residents who need improvements or repairs which allow them to continue to live independently and safely in their own homes. This could be anything from major works like stair lifts and wet rooms to minor works like boiler repairs and security improvements.
The service help residents access grants to cover the cost of any required work. Grants are available to residents of all tenures including homeowners, private renters, housing association and social housing tenants.
There are several different grants available, each has specific criteria for who can apply, how much you can apply for, and what work it covers.
