Your Councillor Community Fund
Up to £5,000 available through County Councillors to help residents, voluntary and community organisations deliver initiatives that benefit local people in key areas such as Creating a greener future.
Funding of between £1,000 and £50,000 for capital community projects supporting Surrey’s Community Vision 2030 objectives. Capital funding is money to improve building, equipment, infrastructure, or software.
Amounts over £10,000 available for larger community-led capital projects, demonstrating local need and support through consultation, that provide a wide community benefit beyond existing services.
Network Rail Community Tree Planting Fund
Grants in excess of £2,500 available to community tree planting projects that are well planned, sustainable, and directly benefit people and communities.
SWR Customer and Communities Improvement Fund
Funding available to projects addressing a social or community need, including environmental sustainability, and educate or engage with communities on the SWR network.
Heathrow Community Trust Grants
Up to £15,000 per year of funding available through the Community Together, Environment and Sustainability, and Projects for Young People programmes.
National Lottery Awards for All
Voluntary or community organisations can apply for funding of between £300 and £20,000 for projects that build strong community relationships and improve spaces and places that matter to local people.
£100 to £10,000 available to organisations focussed on multiple themes, including Environment. The funding prioritises projects focussed on long-term change and run by small, grassroot groups.
Available to businesses and charities regularly driving diesel vans on the A3 in Guildford, contributing £5,000 for small and £10,000 for large new electric light commercial vehicles when switching.

The Stobart Sustainability Fund
Grants are available to UK non-profit organisations, community groups and educational institutions for projects that address climate change, reduce carbon emissions or protect the environment.
Tree Council Branching Out Fund
Grants of between £250 and £2,500 are available to assist schools and community groups in undertaking tree and hedge planting projects taking place during the 2024/25 winter planting season across the UK.
Funding is available to fully constituted, charitable or not-for-profit organisations situated in the vicinity of landfill sites to improve quality of life for communities or to conserve wildlife. ‘Rebuilding Biodiversity’ and ‘Community Buildings’ are amongst the key themes.
BA Better World Community Fund
Grants of up to £10,000 are available for charities, community benefit societies and social enterprises who can raise their initial funding through a crowdfunding campaign to support projects that deliver benefits for climate, communities and nature.
A range of grants are available to registered charities, schools, and not-for-profit organisations for educational projects that will encourage young people's interest in the countryside and the environment.
For individuals
Action Surrey Grants accessible to low-income or stretched-income Surrey residents in off-gas properties for a range of eligible measures that help to save on energy bills and improve home energy efficiency.
Energy Company Obligation (ECO) 4 Flex
ECO4 Scheme, provides funding for the installation of appropriate energy efficiency measures for low income households who are most likely to experience fuel poverty, and those who are vulnerable to the effects of a cold home.
Great British Insulation Scheme
Get free or cheaper insulation for your home to reduce your energy bills if you have an Energy Performance Certificate of D to G and are in Council tax band A to D.
