The council sets fees to cover the cost of its taxi-licensing regime.
We aim to set fees to cover our costs and in doing so are mindful of the impact any increase has on the trade. Fees are reviewed every year and changes in processes are taken into account.
Please note - Credit will not be given for any unexpired period of vehicle or drivers licences if the licence is surrendered.
Any person wishing to object to the adoption of this revised Table of Fees, where applicable, should do so in writing by Friday 20 December 2024 to M A Leo, Corporate Head of Law and Governance.

If no objections are received by this date, these fees will come into operation on Tuesday 1 April 2025.
