Location details
Windsor Great Park. Meet at Savill gardens carpark Wick Lane TW20 0UU.
Walk from the carpark up around Smith’s Law to The Valley Gardens, then beside Virginia Water lake to the Totem pole and back via Obelisk pond to Savill gardens.
Walking mainly on paths but through Valley Gardens it can be muddy with tree roots and some uneven ground.
Parking Information
Car park payment is by card only. Parking charges apply (approx £3.10/ hour) unless you have membership pass for Windsor Great Park and Savill Gardens.
The walk is about 4 miles long at a reasonable pace, taking about 2 hours. Walkers should wear walking shoes or walking boots and carry waterproofs and water.
