What is work experience?
The council offers flexible, unpaid placements, accommodating up to two weeks for students or tailored schedules for residents. During your placement, you’ll work on real projects, learn about various job roles, and gain insights into the council’s operations. Keeping a diary of your experience and shadowing team members will further enrich your learning.
