Act on waste
Surrey Environment Partnership have put together a range of free resources for teachers in Surrey schools to run lessons, activities, and homework tasks to teach children about the topics of waste, recycling, and the environment. This includes a fun and interactive game to ensure that you are recycling items in the right way.
Wastebusters provide a range of waste education resources designed to inform, inspire, and empower children to care for environment and reduce waste. Among the options available is a schools membership programme with a range of activities and classroom support available.
To encourage your students to find imaginative ways to think differently about waste, you may like to check out these instructional videos from the WWT. Among the videos are a bird feeder made from a plastic bottle and a carrier bag formed from an old T-shirt.
