Surrey Landscape Character Assessment
Landscape character assessment (LCA) is a technique for analysing elements in the landscape and understanding the way they combine to make one character area different from another.
Surrey County Council undertook a Landscape Character Assessment across the County in 2015. There is a dedicated chapter in the LCA which relates to Runnymede and this chapter and its supporting documentation can be viewed below:

A revision of the Ancient Woodland Inventory for Surrey
Ancient woodland is a nationally important habitat and in 2011, a partnership project funded by a number of organisations, including Runnymede Borough Council, updated the ancient woodland inventory for Surrey.
